  2. Active charcoal will cancel out your medications and birth control (!!!) tho. You can get charcoal from your local pharmacy which already says a lot.

  3. I love turmeric mostly just the taste of it but the anti inflammatory is just a super positive bonus to me I put it on all of my meats and even in my scrambled eggs or when I bulk bake my zucchini and yellow squash ^_^

  6. I love your videos, I think you're a great inspiration for girls and women around the world.
    But I just have one little note on this video. You mentioned cancer a lot, even as a joke. When reading out a list of potential benefits, you mentioned cancer, didn't try to debunk it, but tried to debunk the anemia part.
    I know you meant no malice.
    My family have just been effected really badly by cancer and I'm sure others have too, just a little more sensitivity around the topic could be good.

  7. I didn’t appreciate how negative Abby was about but milk. Basic but milk is water and that nut blended. It’s a good source of protein and as long as you spend more then 1 second and read a label you can make sure it’s a healthy alternative to cows milk which is meant for baby cows and is not good for overall health

  11. I literally just bought (from nuts.com) Activated Charcoal and Spirulina (which was only 5.99 for 8 ounces). But they're for baking! I want to make fudge that is black for Halloween desserts. And spirulina I just wanted to try for once. I feel like I have almost all of those "superfoods" in my house BUT I am aware nothing is actually some magic cure all. But I do like a lot of the things. Chia, nut milks, etc. Part of a balanced diet and all that jazz.

  14. Watch out with charcoal foods if you take any kind of medication! It's used as an anti-poison in medicine because it absorbs and negates chemicals. Don't eat them anywhere close to taking your meds, friends <3

  15. Haha the reason why they saw to rinse and spit out coconut Oil because they said it gets rid of tooth decay. It's a miracle!! I'll never have to go to the dentist again. Lol

  16. Organic nut milk, which I drink, does not have all those additives in it and I buy only unsweetened. I drink it because I get a reaction from regular milk. India has the lowest occurrences of Alzheimers due to the fact that they eat so much turmeric which is in their curries. There is research on that. I don't think that the person you consulted for nutritional advice is one I would listen to. She seems to put down everything. I think she needs to read more.

  17. I feel good when I have had fresh vegetable juice that I juiced myself and drank it right away. I take supplements, too. But…I had seen a slide show off of MSN about a year ago or more and it had to do with men and women who lived over 100. Guess what THEY ate? One woman ate bacon every day. Another old guy had bacon, whiskey and women to the secret as to how he lived so long!! So much for "health" food. LOL!!
