  5. I read somewhere that there’s no medical terminology for the back of your knee, but “armpit of your knee” sounds pretty great! Thanks so much for posting & keeping it real! It’s refreshing to hear the gritty truth about the hard work that goes into this.

    A couple of months ago, I was wearing nothing but leggings, because nothing else fit, and a friend called me out on it. That was the push I needed to start my own fitness journey, and reading the comments, it’s crazy how many other women can relate

It’s an actual question I had to ask myself when I started to take control of my health, and something that I imagine that many naturally curly women ask themselves. For me, the answer was faux locs, crochet twists, and the infamous bun. Thank you for providing some clarity to this sensitive issue.
