20 minute Yoga For Beginners 30 Day Challenge Day 19. As we continue our challenge, you’ll find some more challenging yoga poses. Here’s a link for more beginner yoga classes Today, we’re working toward Warrior 3 or virabhadrasana. This pose is very challenging and I recommend using two yoga blocks to help make this pose a bit more accessible. One of the biggest challenges is keeping the hips level as you lift the leg up and back (extension). Please modify your vinyasa’s as needed and rest in child’s pose whenever you’d like a break. Most importantly keep your breath steady…if that means you need to push the pause button to rest and and reconnect with the breath, then do! Always take care of yourself!!

  4. Thank you so much for making these beginner videos. I have scoliosis and get a lot of full back, neck and hip pain. I feel that since doing this yoga I haven't had as much pain as I usually do! Could not for the life of me do the warrior 3 but that is no surprise, I know the more I do this the stronger I will become. Again, Thank you! x

  5. Today and yesterday’s challenge swere real breakthroughs for me. Everything sort of clicked and now it seems. natural and easier, but still feels like a nice work out by the end. So happy to have started yoga and this challenge. Thanks for being a fantastic teacher, Leslie!

  6. This morning's practice was AMAZING! I have a minor disability where my left leg is an inch and a half shorter than my right, and I never realized how weak my left leg was. I'm so glad the new warrior 3 is helping me build strength there. Also, your quote today was so inspirational and something great to help motivate me this early morning! Thank you Lesley so much!! I'm going to share this quote with my best friend, I'm sure it'll motivate her too! See you tomorrow!

  7. I am noticing some amazing progress. Thanks so much. At the beginning of this series I couldn't even sit in a cross legged position due to a left hip pain. Now, I still feel some pressure but I am able to sit in that position. Keep moving forward, right

  8. Thank you so much for making this beginner series! I wouldn't have known where to start without your videos! As I get farther into the series though, the poses are becoming harder such as today, I wasn't able to do warrior 3 without falling over :/ but I want to continue to day 30 and beyond! Any advice?

  10. Hi Lesley. I have really been enjoying your 30 day series and I thank you so much for making yoga accessible to people like me who can't get to classes, i appreciate you so much. I have severe Endometriosis and am doing yoga as part of a recovery after surgery in January. The thing is I am too scared to practice when I am on my period (up to 10 days at a time), and I suffer severe abdominal pain so it has taken me 2 months to get this far. Now that the videos are getting tougher I am finding it harder to come back to after a break. Is there any video you recommend doing when I come back and is there any sort of yoga you recommend doing during my period so that the accrued strength doesn't go to waste? I am so determined to get to the end of this series, but this one really pushed me today! Namaste xx

  16. Just got back from my yearly physical. I have been an exerciser for years, but in October switched to “yoga only" (or almost only, besides walking). I was worried about doing that if it would be “enough”….turns out I lost more than 5 lbs! Yay yoga and Yay Lesley!
